After you had left this evening, the Foreign Office added a new last paragraph to the draft telegram at No. 29 which relates to the last paragraph at No.27.

The telegram to Chungking (the draft of which i agreed with Mr. Kitson this morning) informing Chungking of the approach to President Truman about our "interpretation" of the President's "General Order" to General MacArthur, has now issued.
